The Grayson County Fair Board is looking for volunteers to fill Executive Board positions as well as volunteers to help during the Fair itself. The Executive Board consists of a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer, as well as Board members in charge of: Sponsorships, Grounds, Entertainment, Volunteers, Gates, Advertising and Signage, First Grader's Day, Retail Vendors, Food Vendors, Non-Profit Vendors, Ceremonies, Livestock Shows, and Creative Arts. You don't need special qualifications, just a willingness to help organize and conduct a great Fair for the people of Grayson County.
Within each of those categories, volunteers can help on a short-term basis such as assisting with parts of the Livestock show, helping in the Creative Arts building as a Superintendent or volunteer, taking tickets at the gate, or becoming a group leader for the First Grader's Day Friday morning or afternoon activities. Volunteers receive t-shirts, caps, coffee mugs and other mementos of their service to the Grayson County Fair. Fill out the feedback in the sidebar if you would like to help volunteer.
Like kids? Volunteer to help on first graders days, Thursday and Friday when we'll usher upwards of 1,200 first graders at a time through two hours of planned educational activities. Just mention in your feedback that you would like to help with our kids!
