Rules
Garments will be entered in the Creative Arts Building at Loy Lake Park on either Wednesday, October 5th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. or Thursday,
October 6th from 8:00 a.m.—10:00 a.m. No Late Entries accepted.
Judging will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 6th.
Garments must be brought on suitable hangers.
Exhibitor’s name, address and phone number must be attached to entry, but will not be displayed during judging.
All garments must be clean and must have been solely by the Exhibitor within the past year.
Garments must be free of rips and tears, in excellent wearing condition and completely finished.
Judging will follow these standards:
A. Overall neatness of garment
B. Neatness of stitching
C. Suitability of fabric to pattern
D. Overall appearance of garment
E. Garment should be clean and pressed
F. Overall quality and workmanship
Awards will consist of First, Second and Third places in each Section with ribbons presented for each if merited. Best of Show for each division will be selected from First Place winners in each class and rosettes awarded.
Participation ribbons will be awarded to all other entries.
Classes can be divided into sub classes based on the number of entries.
Items must be left on display until 5:00 pm. on Sunday, October 9th.
Items must be picked up by receipt between 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 9th.
Class A: Sportswear
Class B: Day Wear
Class C: Evening Wear
Class D: Tailoring
Class E: Clothing for Children
